Shepherdsville Elementary has a vacancy for a MSD Special Education Teacher. Candidates should hold certification for teaching students with Mental to Severe Disabilities. This individual will be responsible for planning, organizing and delivering a program of instruction that supports the premise that high expectations for all students are possible, also implements instructional strategies that support students towards showing grit, experincing growth, and seeking greatness. The ideal candidate should expect to work in a team atmosphere and be prepared to work closely with support staff. The ideal candidate will also have a positive mindset and be able to acknowledge and highlight student progress and success.

This position is for the 2024-2025 school year.  

Salary based on board approved salary schedule for the 2024-2025 school year.
