Mt. Washington Elementary is searching for a collaborative LBD/EBD Special Education Teacher. Candidates must be equipped with a comprehensive understanding of Kentucky Academic Standards and classroom experience to effectively differentiate instruction to reach a diverse population of learners.  Candidates must love students, have a passion for teaching and learning, value active student engagement, and maintain high expectations that will foster student growth. This individual will co-teach/co-plan  with regular education teachers to best meet the needs of students in the classroom. Knowledge of trauma-informed care practices and experience with the behaviors is preferred.

Salary based on board approved salary schedule for the 2024-2025 school year.
