Freedom Elementary has a vacancy for an Exceptional Child Education Teacher to join our Freedom Family. This individual will be responsible for planning, organizing and delivering a program of instruction that supports the premise that high expectations for all students are possible. This teacher will work closely with the regular education teachers to ensure student success in the general education classroom. Candidate must have a strong background in behavior intervention and de-escalation strategies in order to meet a variety of student needs. Candidate must be well versed in classroom management techniques and possess knowledge and understanding of what it takes to work in a collaborative setting with a second EBD teacher and an EBD Health Assistant.
