This position is for the 2024-2025 school year.

Freedom Elementary is looking for a dedicated worker to join our team.  As a custodian, you would be responsible for maintaining a clean building and overseeing the physical mechanics of the school. 

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent and provide a copy to HR upon recommendation to hire.

This position is for 8 hours per day and 261 days per year.  

Contracted days will be adjusted depending upon start date. 

(Considered full time with benefits - see below.)

Step 0:  $16.71

Step 10: $20.34

New employees to the district may bring in up to 10 years of comparable, full-time, verified experience. (NOTE:  It will be the responsibility of the applicant hired to submit the BCPS verification of experience form to their prior employer to complete and return to HR.)

Although Classified positions are paid on an hourly rate, salary is set up on a year long contract and divided by the number of reamining paychecks.
