Applicants for this position must:
- Hold a journeyman's license with four years experience in one or more trade areas
- Have a valid driver's license
- Pass a 9-panel drug screen and submit to a background check and child abuse and neglect check
- Be able to repair PVC, black iron, galvanized, and CPVC piping
- Must know how to solder copper pipe
- Have a background in trouble shooting and installation in the field of plumbing.
- Be able to read mechanical drawings
This positions requires the daily maintenance of plumbing operations including, but not limited to, sinks, fountains, urinals, commodes, water heaters, circulation pumps, etc.
The applicant chosen for this position will be required to learn the operations of and become certified to maintain the district's (2) two, small package treatment plants. All training will be provided through the district.
This is a full-time, twelve-month position.
Employees new to the District can bring in up to three years full time verified experience in a similar position. (Step 3 is $16.56 per hour) |
