The preschool department is searching for a flexible candidate who has experience working with 3, 4 and 5 year olds with challenging behaviors.  The assistant will be assigned to assist a certificated teacher in our preschool classroom, in providing instruction to individuals or small groups and monitoring and reporting student progress. 

Must have 48 semester hours, an Associates Degree or pass the paraeducator assessment exam.

This is a 6.5 hour per day, 146 day per year position.

Employees new to the District may bring in up to three years full time verified experience in a similar position.  (Step 3 is $13.14 per hour)
