Duties:

• Knowledge of best practice instruction with at-risk readers in Grades K-2
• Ability to organize and manage daily operations of LEAP Summer Program
• Collaborate with Director of Elementary Education, LEAP staff, YMCA staff, bus drivers, etc. to ensure positive and safe learning environment
• Effective and positive communication skills with parents and families with daily contact as needed
• Strong ability to collect and analyze data, prepare reports, etc. for program effectiveness and meet deadlines
• Demonstrates initiative and a self-starter

Proficient in written and spoken language.

***This summer position begins on June 8, 2020 and the last day is on July 23, 2020 (M-TH), with a week off June 29 through July 2nd. LEAP Sites are Brooks and Shepherdsville Elementary.  1 Coordinator per site.  Hours are 8:00 - 12:00
