8 Teacher positions for LEAP summer program at Shepherdsville Elementary LEAP site and Brooks Elementary LEAP site.  This position requires the candidate to be highly skilled in literacy instruction for grades K-2. Candidates must understand how to teach all components of literacy in order to improve and/or move students to on grade level reading. 

Teachers will instruct for a solid 2.5 hours in the AM with a half hour of planning.  This program will operate on Monday thru Thursday, beginning June 8, 2020 through July 23, 2020 with a week off June 29th through July 2nd.
