Seeking a candidate with desire to learn and aid in implementation of strategies that work with students with severe cognitive and functional disabilities. Must be willing to move to classrooms around the district as the need requires. Must also be willing to help certified teacher in developing procedures and creating visual and sensory supports to create an appropriate learning environment for students in need of a structured classroom.

Must have High School diploma and 48 semester hours, an Associates Degree or pass the paraeducator assessment exam.

This is a 7 hour per day, 183 day per year position.

Employees new to the District may bring in up to ten years full time verified experience in a similar position.  (Step 10 is $15.80 per hour)
