Bullitt East HS is searching for a highly motivated and positive team member to assist a certified teacher in providing instruction to groups of students, monitor and report student progress, and enhance overall student performance. Experience working with students, intervention systems, and small groups are strongly desired. 

This position will provide assistance for students with special needs. Candidate must be able to attend training for the position. Candidate must meet all qualifications necessary to be hired for the position as instructional assistant. 6.5 hours a day 183 days

Must have a High School diploma with 48 semester hours, an Associate’s Degree, or have passed the Paraeducator exam.

Employees new to the District may bring in up to ten years full time verified experience in a similar position.  (Step 10 is $15.57 per hour)  Our employees are on a mandatory year round pay.  Annual salary is divided by pays to be disbursed every two weeks.
