Candidates would be responsible for assisting teachers and schools instructional assistance in a MSD classroom setting.  Candidates will also be providing for the health care needs of students during the school day in accordance with state laws and district regulations. In addition, candidates must committ to being part of a positive school culture where all students are supported and provided the proper supports to ensure each student grows.  

Must have 48 semester hours, an Associates Degree or pass the paraeducator exam.

This is a 6.5 hour per day, 183 day per year position.

Employees new to the District may bring in up to ten years full time verified experience in a similar position.  (Step 10 is $15.57 per hour)  Our employees are on a mandatory year round pay.  Annual salary is divided by pays to be disbursed every two weeks.
