This position is for the 2024-2025 school year.

 

Mt. Washington Elementary School is looking for an energetic person to maintain the cleanliness of our school building.  This person will perform routine custodial activities to maintain buildings, and adjacent grounds areas in a clean, orderly, and secure condition.

 

This position is 5.5 hours per day and 170 student instructional days, 4 holidays, 7 planning days and 1 extended day for a total of 182 days per year.  Contracted days will be adjusted based upon start date.  (Considered full time with benefits - see below)

 

Salary based on the Board approved salary schedule for the 2024-2025 school year.

 

New employees to the district may bring in up to 10 years of comparable, full-time, verified experience. (NOTE:  It will be the responsibility of the applicant hired to submit the BCPS verification of experience form to their prior employer to complete and return to HR.)

 

 

Although Classified positions are paid on an hourly rate, salary is set up on a year-long contract and divided by the number of remaining paychecks.  This position is considered a ten month employee on the pay schedule.  4 paychecks will be paid at the end of June.
