This position is for the 2024-2025 school year.

 

 

Maryville Elementary is looking for a caring, compassionate, student centered individual to join our team.  This individual needs to be organized, flexible, a team player and willing to support the needs of all students at BMS.  We are looking for someone with experience with children with special needs including emotional behavior disorders.  This individual will be able to help students to engage in their learning experiences.   We believe that creating a positive, loving environment for every student, every day, will create a legacy of excellence in our community and in their future. 

 

This position is for 6.5 hours per day with 183 days per year. 

(170 student instructional days, 4 paid holidays, 7 planning days and 2 extended days) 

(Contracted days will be adjusted depending upon start date.)

Step 0: $15.59

Step 10: $19.19

 

New employees to the district may bring in up to 10 years of comparable, full-time, verified experience. (NOTE: It will be the responsibility of the applicant hired to submit the BCPS verification of experience form to their prior employer to complete and return to HR.)

 

This position is considered a ten month employee on the pay schedule. 4 paychecks will be paid at the end of June.

 

Formula to calculate salary

hours per day x hourly rate = daily rate

daily rate x contracted days = salary

salary / # of pays left = gross biweekly pay

Sick Leave and Personal Leave and Emergency Leave (prorated depending upon start date) 

Personal Leave not used in school year rolls over to sick leave
